The third annual EFNV summer conference was held at Bishop O'Dowd High School, Oakland, CA, on July 18th (evening) and July 19th (all day), 2008.

What is Nonviolence?
How can it help me have a more peaceful classroom?
How can it improve my teaching and my life?
How can I teach it to my students?

Friday, July 18

  6-6:30pm: Registration, Tabling, Snacks
  6:30-7:30: Michael Nagler-Intro to Nonviolence and viewing
and  discussion of film "The Nonviolent Moment"   
7:30-8:30:  Jill Johnson-Practical Tools for Teaching
Nonviolence
    8:30pm: Close evening

Saturday, July 19

10-11:00am: Ken Preston of Pace e Bene: Constructive Program in
the  classroom and the world
11-12 noon: Nonviolent Communication workshop
