Teacher Retreat
LOVE IN ACTION: NEW EDUCATION FOR A NEW PARADIGM
This retreat is dedicated to teachers designed to promote personal nonviolence, bringing nonviolence to the classroom, teaching the nonviolent path, and the state of the art of nonviolence today. This event will be held in the University Lutheran Chapel of UC Berkeley on Saturday, July 28th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This retreat is our gift to educators, and you are also invited to make a contribution on our website in support of Metta offering these workshops to other educators around the country, a “pay it forward” model. Everyone is welcome and an ideal donation per person is between $50 and $100. If you are in a position to donate at a higher level, please consider the value you see in our work and consider supporting this program’s future.
