April 26th, 6:30-8:30pm (5:30 for dinner) at Aqus Cafe, 189 H Street, Petaluma, CA.
Project Censored The Movie takes an in depth look at what is wrong with the news media in the US today and highlights the work of 38 year veteran media democracy organization Project Censored (PC), which was founded at Sonoma State University, and their commitment to media literacy education as an antidote to top-down, managed news propaganda and censorship. A great project countering the mainstream media!
The film-makers, Sonoma residents Doug Hecker and Christopher Oscar, will be joined by Mickey Huff, Project Censored Director and host of the Project Censored Radio show on KPFA, for a lively discussion and Q and A after the film.
