As Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. have proven, social change through nonviolence is one of humanity’s most powerful forces.
Metta Center is offering a two-day workshop that will challenge participants to establish a deeper understanding of the role conflict plays in creative, action-oriented nonviolence.
Mica Stumpf and Peijman Kouretchian, nonviolence trainers at Metta Center, will guide you through understanding how nonviolence works, along with topics such as privilege, de-escalation and power dynamics in conflict. They will also discuss how these topics relate to recent protests.
