Summer Online Course for Educators

Are you an educator who is feeling frustrated with the growing dehumanization in the school system? Want to make change?

The Metta Center is offering an online summer program on nonviolence in education. This 6-week course is designed to:

• -introduce you to the principles and science of nonviolence
• -create a space for you to consider how to apply the principles of nonviolence in your classrooms and how to teach it
• -provide pre-existing classroom resources that can be adapted
• -inspire you to develop resources on nonviolence for your own teaching
• -build a virtual network of educators for nonviolence

The course will be offered on a sliding scale donation basis (scholarships are available).
