Now What?—After the Election: The Tikkun Strategy Conference and 30th Anniversary Celebration
November 12: the Metta Center for Nonviolence and the Network of Spiritual Progressives (NSP) will co-host a day-long Progressives Summit in Berkeley to forge a common vision and discuss the strategies needed to build a “movement of movements”—no matter what the outcome of the election. A professional facilitator will lead discussion sessions using the Metta Center’s Roadmap strategy tool and the principles of NSP’s “New Bottom Line.”
November 13: NSP will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tikkun magazine and present awards to progressive luminaries: filmmaker Oliver Stone, singer-songwriter Holly Near, cultural anthropologist and author Nancy Scheper-Hughes, playwright and actor Aaron Davidman, Stanford professor of history and author Clayborne Carson.
