“We want to reach not the dead level, but unity in diversity.” ~ Yeravda Mandir
The world is beginning to reawaken to the foundations of indigenous wisdom in agriculture, what some call “permaculture”: diversity is the expression of a thriving, healthy system. Monocultures weaken the environment, thus reducing security for everyone. Human beings are not separate from the environment: we’ve evolved from it and everything that evolves from the system has an essential role to play. If we allow ourselves to grow with appreciation for unity in diversity among our human systems, which requires nonviolence, the purpose of our evolution will reveal itself. In other words, nonviolence is only the beginning!
