With us in the studio this week is the very inspiring and always interesting local activist and Rudolf Steiner student, Abraham Entin.

Here’s a little about Abraham:

Abraham Entin is a life long activist for non-violent social transformation. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Chicago, he was active in the Civil Rights Movement in the early 1960’s and was a Vietnam War draft resister. Abraham is the founder of the Sonoma County Affiliate of Move to Amend (the coalition to end corporate constitutional rights through a 28th amendment stating that “corporations are not people” and “money is not speech”. He is also active with the global initiative 100 Thousand Poets for Change (www.100TPC.org) out of a recognition that social change begins with a transformation within human beings and their cultural attitudes. He views non-violence not as merely the means for social change but also the end we are seeking-the end of coercion as a means of social interaction and control. Abraham is a long time student of Rudolf Steiner and has been active in helping Waldorf Schools and other initiatives connected to Steiner’s work. He teaches a course called “Spirit and Revolution” at the Arlene Francis Center for Spirit, Art and Politics.
